Welcome to Chimney Rock RV Park
Nestled on 11 acres of lush green land sits our quaint 65-site campground/tent park. Fifty-five of these sites offer full hook-up; for those that do not want sewer hook-up at their site, there is a dump station. Several sites have been upgraded to accomodate the biggest of rigs. Shower, bathroom and laundromat facilities are centrally located in the park. Large majestic trees shade most sites, but do not obstruct the view of the gently rolling countryside and many of our sites overlook the pristine water of Herrington lake.
The campground borders Herrington lake, which is a 33 mile long boating paradise. Chimney Rock Marina (859-748-9065) is located adjacent to the campground. Kamp Kennedy Marina (859-548-2101) and Sunset Marina (859-548-3591) are close by. All 3 marinas have a very nice restaurant, offer slip rentals and if you don't have a boat, you can rent a pontoon or floating cabin.
Scheduled activites in the campground include pot-luck dinners, karaoke and bluegrass music, horseshoe and dart games. Church services are held during the summer on Sunday mornings. On hot sunny days you can relax in the stainless steel lined swimming pool. Ft. Harrod State Park and Shaker Village are two of the local attractions.
